The last of the summer dresses.

The reasoning behind this post title is due to the abrupt shift in weather here in Buffalo, as many of our days had been graced by 60 degree temperatures (that and this was quite literally the last summer dress left in the store)! I, however, will most likely continue wearing this dress with scarves and tights, being that I've never been a fan of the 'no white after labor day' pish posh.

The clutter of our newly occupied home is finally beginning to disperse, but there is still so much to be done--at least until I'm ready to snap and post photographs of it! As of now, I am still attempting to choose the exact color of our walls, which is a task that has proved itself much more difficult than anticipated. Yesterday, Justin and I decided to take a bit of a hiatus from the city and ventured to the Botanical Gardens, located on the outskirts. It was the most lovely day, chilled and gently sun-kissed behind darker, autumn clouds. Did I mention how I am anticipating autumn? Oh, it's my absolute favorite time of the year, even though it doesn't last nearly long enough for my taste.

After our visit with the flowers, we made our way back into the city and stopped at our most beloved Thai restaurant that is decorated with deep crimson walls and illuminated by candles and paper lanterns.

Now that I finally have the internet set up at the apartment, I hope to blog more plus get my Etsy shop back in gear! It's a sad little place as of now. However, all in all, we are thrilled to begin our lives in this exciting location and certainly can't wait to introduce all of you to the sites!
