I was following the pack, all swallowed in their coats, with scarves of red tied 'round their throats.

The best little Thai restaurant in the city, walks in the snow, Elmwood Village lit by Christmas lights, silent films, caramel macchiatos at Spot Coffee, and Justin made for a lovely Monday off of work, if I do say so myself.

Unfortunately, our photo-taking festivities were cut a bit short due to a full memory card, dying battery, and most of all, creepy looks from the residents of the neighborhood we were walking in! Do bloggers ever really get over feeling silly during photoshoots?

My photo-woes were quickly dispersed, however, by the discovery of an about-to-open antique shop merely two houses down from my apartment! Excitmentexcitementexcitement.

For your wintertime listening pleasure, I give you "White Winter Hymnal" by Fleet Foxes, which has been playing on repeat in my head all day. This isn't the official video, but I ask you, how could I say no to this one, featuring clips of Ginger Rogers and Fred Astaire? I submit that I possibly could not!

Really love these pictures. I wish we had this kind of winter here in California. I love your ensemble, too! You are a true original with your styling! Keep it up :) If you stop over my blog, I've got some nifty old photos and postcards I've posted. Thought you'd enjoy those :)

Hello Bethany, I'm a fellow Buffalonian and you left a really nice comment on my blog about a week ago. I haven't had a chance to respond since my internet was down for awhile, but I was so excited when you said hello! I adore meeting Buffalo vintage enthusiasts, especially when their style is as cute and their photos are as pretty as yours! Thanks for introducing yourself - I'm now your newest follower!

This song has been stuck in my head too! It was so funny that I was singing this song in my head when I stumbled upon your blog once again. Fate? Perhaps. Happy new year!
